What is FUE?

FUE is a hair restoration technique called “follicular unit restoration”, where individual hair follicles from the donor area (usually the back of the head and sometimes the sides of the head) are extracted and transplanted to the recipient areas (where hair loss has occurred). Follicles contain anywhere from one to six hairs. We use the full follicle as harvested, which allows us to achieve the density or thickness that is as close to your own natural state as possible.

 Advantages and Benefits

FUE is minimally invasive because it is not really surgery. We use the NeoGraft® machine to remove hair follicles in a pattern that leaves tiny pinprick holes that heal rapidly and are quickly covered by surrounding donor hair.

We use a small needle to create recipient sites, then use little tweezers to fill those sites with follicles. Because we use your own follicles, the results are so natural that no one would know you had a transplant. In addition,

recovery time is relatively fast.

Hairline, temples, and front:

FUE helps restore as much of the hairline as your hair allows.

This includes moving your hairline forward and/or filling in thinner areas. 

Crown (center of the upper back of the head):

FUE can replace some or most of that hair, giving the appearance of a fuller head of hair. 

Top of the head:

A common place for women to lose hair. FUE fills in areas like the part that can widen over time.

Your whole head of hair will appear fuller and more luscious.

Eyebrows

FUE can be used to add fullness to thinning eyebrows.
